Improved institutional capacity and a new multi-level governance for attracting and retaining talent in the Danube region - which addresses the main societal challenges caused by the emigration of highly educated young people, mainly from small and medium-sized cities in the Danube region. The Talent Magnet project aims to strengthen multilevel governance and improve institutional capacity to reduce the emigration of talented young workers and create practical tools for attracting and retaining talent - tailored to the specific needs of small and medium-sized cities.
The Talent Magnet project is developing several tools to attract and retain talent. The activities are divided into five work packages, of which the thematic WPT2 focuses on providing an innovative set of tools and training materials to improve the multilevel governance model for attracting and retaining talent. Three main activities will be implemented: Development of tools, Preparation of partners for the creation and management of the improved model of multilevel governance and Preparation of local participants in QH for cooperation in attracting and retaining talent. During these activities, several results will be produced, such as the creation of local talent clubs, the Talent Magnet application, implemented urban hackathons, interactive learning materials, a pool of certified Talent Magnet experts, e-learning materials, local learning materials in national languages ​​and Interactive local training courses.Its functions, on the one hand, will provide useful information about talents, and on the other hand will be attractive and interesting to them. During the research and the generation of the idea for the creation of the application, the partners had to take into account the findings of the Benchmark study for the Talent Magnet application. These ideas, which met the initial requirements, were listed in several main categories: Local identity, attachment to the place; Exploitation of talents; Engagement and fun.
